Coagulum Holdings ("Coagulum", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information and processing it lawfully in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This notice explains what we collect when you submit your company through our advisory application, why we collect it, and your rights.

1. Who is responsible

The responsible party is Coagulum Holdings. Our Information Officer is Warren Ebersohn. For any matter relating to your personal information, contact us at warren@webersohn.co.za.

2. What we collect

When you complete an application, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

• Contact and business details — your name, business name, email, mobile number, website, LinkedIn and location.
• Business information — what your business does, your market, customers, model, stage, metrics and funding history.
• Documents you upload — your pitch deck and any supporting material you choose to share.
• An optional video link, if you provide one as part of "Sell Yourself".

3. Why we collect it

We use your information solely to assess your business and determine whether and how we can assist you — through advice, partnership, distribution, or investment — and to respond to you. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.

4. Lawful basis

We process your information on the basis of your consent (which you give when submitting) and our legitimate interest in evaluating potential advisory and investment opportunities. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see your rights below).

5. How we store and protect it

Your information is stored securely with access restricted to those involved in reviewing your application. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

6. Who we share it with

We treat your submission as confidential. We may share it with advisors or co-investors involved in assessing your opportunity, under confidentiality. We may also use trusted service providers (such as hosting and secure storage) who process information on our behalf under contract. We do not sell your information.

7. Cross-border processing

Our website hosting and secure document storage are provided by reputable international providers, which may process and store information on servers outside South Africa, subject to appropriate safeguards and contractual protections as required by POPIA.

8. How long we keep it

If we do not proceed with your application, we retain your information for up to 12 months from submission, after which it is deleted — unless it becomes part of an active engagement with you, or we are required to retain it by law.

9. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction or deletion; object to processing; and withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these, contact warren@webersohn.co.za.
